Boracay Vacation 205

Here are some pics from our Boracay vacation. We certainly enjoyed the beach. Not too crowded. We were also very satisfied with the hotel we stayed in. The only complaint I have with this vacation is - why the hell is seafood so expensive in Boracay?!

Enjoy the pics!

This is our view in front of the hotel where we stayed in. The very same cabana where Mae tried to have a tan. Again, just like in our previous beach outings, it was an exercise in futility.

Reading a book at around 11AM, notice how Mae positions herself outside the cabana's shade. Still, the elusive suntan.

Away from the hustle and bustle of city life. This is relaxation. This is life.
And yes, that's my foot.

A trip anywhere wouldn't be complete without my wife having her dose of shopping therapy. And this Boracay trip is no exception.

These colorful pairs of slippers in one of the shops at D' Mall just caught my attention. Nice.

One of the best places to catch the sunset while sipping their famous blends of summer fruit shakes.

A trip like this wouldn't be complete without my sunset shots. And this pic is just one of many.

My wife watching the Boracay sunset

The receding tide. The calm waters. And the setting sun. So peaceful...

Just right after sunset, this white dude who introduces himself as a "wanderer" performs his fire dance by the beach.
I know, you can't see the dude, huh? Who cares?

Listening to live acoustic music on a Saturday night while being served drinks by "Bob Marley-inspired" waiters.
Haayy, sarap...
